9. Carers support programme - adults

Our trainers within the four sessions of the programme will provide you with knowledge and skills in an informal atmosphere to assist you with your caring role.

10. Essential first aid - adults (efa)

This course is for members of the public who want to learn how to deal with accidents, injuries and medical conditions involving an adult.

11. Automated external defibrillation (aed)

Defibrillator training, including basic life support, will give you the confidence to act quickly and effectively if someone has a cardiac arrest.

12. Emergency first aid at work (efaw)

The HSE regulations allow smaller organisations, and those with clearly low risk working environments, to have first aiders trained in ‘emergency procedures’ only.

13. First aid skills update (fasu)

This practical refresher course provides first aiders with an opportunity to practise and update their skills at any time while their first certificate is valid.

14. First aid at work (faw)

This course turns novices into workplace first aiders who are confident in their ability to manage any critical situation, delegate tasks to bystanders and more.

15. First aid at work requalification (fawr)

This course is for people wishing to renew an existing, valid First Aid at Work certificate (initial three-day course).

16. Mental health first aid for the workplace (mhfa - 2 day)

This two-day mental health first aid course qualifies delegates as Mental Health First Aiders. Delegates will be awarded the FutureQuals Level 3 Award in Mental Health: Workplace First Aider qualification, which will equip them with the knowledge to identify those who require mental health support and the confidence to offer assistance when required. This qualification is designed and delivered by St John Ambulance.

17. Paediatric first aid requalification (paedr)

This course is for people wishing to renew an existing, valid Paediatric first aid certificate (initial two-day course).

Our range of services delivering first aid at public events to providing additional support to the States of Jersey in a major or critical incident can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

25. Our youth groups

Our youth projects enable young people to learn first aid, build their confidence and gain important life skills.

As a Youth Team volunteer, you'll be trained to provide our young people with both life skills and life saving skills

27. Badgers (ages 6 – 10)

Our Badger Setts are all about, fun, learning first aid and having adventure

28. Cadets (ages 10 – 17)

As a Cadet, you will have fun and take part in an exciting journey which may involve using your learned first aid skills at public events

29. Midvale youth (ages 14 -17)

As a member of this youth group, you will have fun and excitement with older Cadets which will ease the transition to joining the Adult Units.

We are the first aid and mental health first aid trainer of choice for hundreds of local companies, SoJ departments, clubs and members of the public.
